From July 2012, D. Richon has started new challenge. He helps laboratories, in various parts of the world, developping experimental facilities in the Thermodynamics field, mainly for phase equilibrium studies, but also transport properties.

Previously, Otto Monsted Visiting Professor at CERE, Denmark Technical University, Finland Distinguished Professor at the School of Chemical Technology, Aalto University, Finland and Professor on fractional appointment at (UKZN) Durban University, South Africa

he is currently Honorary Professor at (UKZN) Durban University, South Africa

Prior to mission on site, interested inviting laboratories (academic and/or industrial ones) will present projects they wish to handle for evaluation of their experimental needs. Advices will be done in order to ensure the most efficient possible missions. The inviting laboratories will allow easy access to workshop for optimized results.

Besides equipment development, training of researchers is proposed with critical explanations about:

- Limits of available equipment (there is no universal equipment)

- The best experimental procedures

- Consistent precision through measuring devices chain

- How to achieve careful and accurate calibrations

- How to do reliable and accurate uncertainty estimations, etc, etc ...
